Extend the life of your favourite boots/shoes by replacing the soles. We have stock replacement soles for most boots and our cobblers will do their best to chose the right sole for your boot. Remember that not all boots can be resoled so if mailing in, please send photos first.

Leather boots and shoes generally respond well to spot stretching for bunions or pressure points, and we can often create a little extra room through the width. However, because of the way footwear is constructed, stretching shoes or boots to increase the length is usually not possible.

Our typical turnaround time is 3–4 weeks, but this can vary depending on seasonal demand and staffing levels.

#1 - Treat your leather boots like your hands; clean, condition and cover. Remove the dirt with a damp cloth and nylon brush, apply conditioner oil/cream and cover with leather protector.

#2 - Keep away from heat! Don't put your boots next to the fire to dry because the soles can melt and the rands warp.

#3 - Avoid salt. Salt kills leather and rusts eyelets. Water alone will not neutralize the salt residue so use salt stain remover before storing your boots for the season. 

#4 - Waterproof. Goretex (or similar) keeps your feet dry, but applying a waterproof coating to your boots protects the uppers and makes them easier to clean. Be careful though, as you can oversaturate your boots with oil and some products will make it difficult for glue to adhere (ie. gluing rands/soles).
